Homestead Families

The family of Lorna J. Whisler, author of Rozet, Campbell County, Wyoming and Its Homestead Families (1880 – 1949), was one of the early homesteader families in the Rozet area. Included in this book are more than 420 contemporary photographs and extensive family histories with a comprehensive Name Index that will be greatly appreciated by family genealogists and historians. The background material and data on the individual families will be equally valuable to all historians interested in early U.S. history, i.e., what drove all the people to Wyoming to homestead.
